Devlin - Bud Sweat & Bears

The highly anticipated debut album from Devlin got released 1st November 2010. The Grime artist from Dagenham had been planning to release his debut album entitled 'Bud Sweat & Bears' during 2009, but had to keep pushing the release date back as he felt as an artist it didn't sound like an album to him. The material that he recorded for the album than got released as a mixtape entitled 'The Art Of Rolling'.  After signing to Island Records in 2010, the main priority was to get his album Bud Sweat & Bears out in stores before the new year. 


After working hard in the studio and with Island behind his back, the album finally got released. The first single taken from the album was called 'London City' were in the video you see Devlin out in London through a typical night. The second single from Devlin was 'Brainwashed' which peaked in the charts at number 31. His third single before releasing his album was entitled 'Runaway' featuring Yasim. This gave Devlin his highest charting single as it peaked in at number 15 in the UK Top 40. The album has many different genres and with it being a commercial success peaking Top 30 in the UK album chart Devlin is looking to have an even stronger year for 2011 !
